Job Spotlight: The “Rainmaker” Role. Do You Have the Book of Business for This Remote Work Opportunity?

Resource Erectors is currently recruiting a Senior Business Development Leader for a top-tier client in Dallas, Texas. This is not an entry-level gig. This is a career-defining move for a heavy hitter who can turn their Rolodex into revenue on Day One.

In the world of heavy civil construction and deep foundations, there are two types of salespeople.

There are the “farmers,” who water the crops and wait for the phone to ring.

And then there are the “hunters.” The ones who don’t wait for the RFP to hit the street because they were in the room when the project was conceived.

If you are the latter—if you have the contacts, the scars, and the track record—we have the platform you’ve been waiting for.

Resource Erectors is currently recruiting a Senior Business Development Leader for a top-tier client in Dallas, Texas (HOWEVER, THIS IS A FULL REMOTE WORK OPPORTUNITY; NO RELOCATION IS REQUIRED). This is not an entry-level gig. This is a career-defining move for a heavy hitter who can turn their Rolodex into revenue on Day One.

The Mission: Immediate Impact

Our client isn’t looking for someone to “learn the ropes.” They are looking for a plug-and-play professional who can operate independently.

You will be targeting the highest-growth sectors in the 2026 industrial landscape:

  • Energy & Renewables: The grid is expanding, and every windmill and transmission tower needs a foundation.
  • BESS & Mission-Critical: Battery Energy Storage Systems and Data Centers are the new gold rush.
  • Heavy Civil Infrastructure: Bridges, highways, and industrial petrochemical facilities.

The “Must-Haves” (We’re Serious)

We see a lot of resumes, but for Job #804, we are looking for specific DNA.

  • The “Book”: You need an established network. If you have to Google “Who are the big EPCs in the United States,” this role isn’t for you.
  • The Tech Specs: You need to speak the language of the dirt. Drilled shafts, micropiles, secant piles, slurry walls, helical piles. You need to know the difference between a friction pile and an end-bearing pile, and you need to know how to sell the value of both.
  • The Experience: 5+ years of winning work in foundation drilling or geotechnical construction.

The Payoff: Why Make the Move?

Let’s talk numbers, because “passion” doesn’t pay the mortgage.

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $160,000.
  • Commission: Strong potential on all sales. In heavy civil, where contract values hit the millions, you can do the math.
  • Perks: Company vehicle (or allowance), comprehensive benefits, and the backing of a company that can actually execute the work you sell.

The 2026 Market Professional

In 2026, the market is punishing mediocrity. The companies that are winning are the ones with the best talent on the front lines.

This role is for the sales leader who is tired of being capped, tired of working for operations teams that can’t deliver, or tired of a comp plan that changes every quarter.

If you have the relationships, our client has the rig fleet. Let’s put them together and make some noise.
