Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical, civil and electrical project designs, scopes and estimates
- Estimate construction and engineering costs
- Issue material and contractor requisitions
- Solicit and negotiate vendor bids
- Provide project field management and construction engineering services, including supervising outside engineering firms
- Track and present project status and cost updates.
Requirements
- Engineering degree and 10+ material processing and/or bulk material handling experience
- Superior computer skills (AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, ...)
- Strong verbal/oral skills must be willing to travel
- An ability to understand piping and pumping calculations
- Prior plant start-up experience
