Responsibilities

Provide skilled services to achieve desired environmental priorities for surface limestone quarries, rail distribution facilities, asphalt operations and ready mix concrete operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to local, state and federal permitting, environmental protection plan development, employee training, regulatory and corporate policy compliance and ongoing improvement related to air/water/land quality, wetlands, floodplains, water appropriation and associated environmental media. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mining Engineering, and Environmental Science, Geology or closely related discipline or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum five years experience over multiple production sites in the environmental field preferred; Construction materials industries and TCEQ experience is preferred.
  • Strong background in air quality permitting, testing and compliance preferred; superb time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced multimedia environment.
  • Strong communication skills, customer service skills and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent analytical and judgment skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving skills and experience developing solutions in a team environment - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; AutoCAD experience.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced multimedia environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel (~20% overnight travel).
