Summary

Design and program new automated control systems for aggregate processing plants. Responsible for troubleshooting and supporting the automated systems and programmable logic controller (PLC) programming. SOUTHEAST US BASE LOCATIONS AVAILABLE. Responsibilities

Design and program new automated control systems for aggregate processing plants. Responsible for troubleshooting and supporting the automated systems and programmable logic controller (PLC) programming (mainly GE-IP and AB). Additional duties include operating interface software (mainly Wonderware InTouch) and knowledge of information systems terminology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required, with an emphasis on controls or power.
  • Up to 2 years experience.
  • Experience/familiarity with ladder logic, AutoCAD, basic networking, windows operating systems, 3 phase motor control equipment, and 120V controls is a plus.
  • Will be required to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card (requires fingerprints and FBI background check) to gain access to international facilities.
  • Must have or be capable of getting a Passport and be willing to travel on short notice within the U.S.A, Canada, and the Carribean; 50-70% travel required depending on project schedule (80% of travel within U.S.A.).
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Visual Studio. Ability to document technical procedures and processes is a must.
